These houses are an exploration about the sense of place. While in London, I spent four hours virtually exploring the streets on Google Maps, drawing houses and gates. The following day I took my drawings and camera and walked the streets I had visited online the day before.

About these streets: Holland Villas Road and Addison Crescent are located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, population 158,300. It is the most densely populated borough, as well as the smallest, within London proper.
